Birthday!

Happy Birthday to me! :) My wonderful aunt Sherrie sent me some GORGEOUS earrings for the wedding today! Here are some pictures of them! They are real ;) made especially for me in San Fransisco. I can't wait to have them for the wedding then have such a nice keepsake for the rest of my life.

Brent is coming tomorrow-- YAY!! It's been really lonely being in Memphis alone on my birthday.. luckily it's the last one that will be like this :) We're going to go to Texas de Brazil, where I have always always wanted to go and Brent can eat as MUCH as he wants!

Oh yeah-- 7 months to go!

Invitations!

We're done with the invitations!! I love them! Brent is so good at making them on his computer, so we're saving soooo much money. We plan on ordering some soon to make sure everything turns out right then we'll order them at the first of the year.. very exciting!
We figured out last night that we only have 33 weekends to go. I like counting that way since i kind of live weekend to weekend with getting to see Brent. That's also a lot less intimidating than 235 days...
It seems that EVERYONE is getting engaged/married, but i hope that this will still be an awesome time for Brent and me. We've been looking forward to it for so long so I hope we will make it special for everyone.

8 Months!

8 months today!! It is going so slowly..... Brent came this weekend for Labor Day weekend and we had so much fun. We got his wedding ring and it's AWESOME! I know he wants to wear it all the time but he has to wait!

hello

So I'm trying this for the first time! This was my one week break from school and I came home to NC to do some wedding stuff with my mom. We got SOO much done! We got all the flowers ordered (similar to the ones below), the linens picked out, the chairs ordered for the reception, the cake set up (YUMMY cake tasting with Mom and Mammaw pictured), addressed all the save the dates, blocked hotel rooms, and tomorrow, with the help of Katie, I will hopefully finally nail down a bridesmaid dress! It's really starting to come together and feel like a wedding! Brent and I have been looking at wedding bands for him and I think we've found a couple that he really likes. I know he's excited for me to finally buy him something :) I can't wait for May 8th! I think it's going to be so much fun for everyone and especially for Brent and me. I can't wait to see every body in one place. I guess this is all I'll write for now, hopefully I'll get better at this!
